Amen... these are the Godly gifts that matter.

What about my collection of experiences that have formed me into who I am, all the good and not-so-good moments: the time cooling along a glimmering brook, hiking mountain pathways, falling in love, traveling to a distant land, even the failures and falls — a time deprived of a job sought, and the pains from a broken heart — all teaching valuable lessons, all helping me grow into a better me? In retrospect, I recognize that the most challenging times have been the most constructive and memorable lessons, wholeheartedly believing there is reason for gratitude in both the successes and downfalls.

Amen... these are the Godly gifts that matter. My list, posted earlier today, is not as eloquent, but says the same thing. Funny how that works. :) Happy Thanksgiving, Doug and family.
