For me, I don't think I was capable of loving anyone until I received the love of Christ.

Without self-acceptance and a sense of self-love, we will find ourselves seeking unduly validation, approving words and warm expressions, turning on others, turning away from someone we love whom we expect to receive — but are not forthcoming but are not wrong.

For me, I don't think I was capable of loving anyone until I received the love of Christ. As for loving myself, that's taken a long time.
