I was working with my Alanon sponsor, which over time helped me be less angry. I prayed every day. Although my husband disappeared after the divorce I eventually learned he was bipolar, but was never treated or diagnosed when we were married. That explained some of his crazy behavior, and it helped me eventually forgive him. I never saw him…

I'm so glad you had Alanon. The 12 steps can be very helpful in forgiving. It's hard to forgive those that are still hurting us. I'm thankful we don't have to do it alone.
