Interesting, I would have guessed 1920s.

‘Jeepers, creepers’ is a phrase I had to look up one time. More of a fact check for my own knowledge instead of research. This frequently comes up in my writing group also. One of us will use a phrase and someone will ask — “Was that even used then?”
