This brought tears, the good kind.

The heaviness of 
night lost its hold, 
no longer 
bewildered but saved, 
covered in 
divine grace,
and His Light shining bright, 
with the Savior on 
the journey,
with me, 
headed home, 
not apart anymore. 
And gone was 
the emptiness of 
the sunless land.
