This is the best laugh for me all week.

Yesterday I picked up a hard-boiled egg from the fridge and stuck the small end into my mouth. I closed my jaws all the way down — and the egg slid right out of my mouth, into my hand. Whole. Untouched. Pristine. As pure as the moment it had been denuded. My gums acted like a Tiddlywinks squidger.

This is the best laugh for me all week. My heart goes out to you, Ted. My dad decided to live with the gums after a bad experience with dentures. He could eat just about anything, but that's just him. I know he got tired of people asking him if he wanted a toothpick or gum. LOL.
