This stirred so many feelings about my own family. My parents, alcoholics ,are both gone. My brother and sister who both had issues with drugs and alcohol are gone as well. It's just me with 30 years sobriety and one sister who drinks lightly left. Worse than them being gone is the suffering that took place when they were alive. I am grateful for my recovery and celebrate your brother who has found it as well.
