This was going on in the 60's and 70's. Back then, in our circle of friends a group was started. They would toss their house keys in a hat and then draw whoever you went home with. I was never involved. I'm thankful. It makes me sad to think of relationships that have not learned the satisfaction that comes with a long term, intimate relationship.
