I don’t remember who challenged me to write a 10-word Valentine’s Day story. I will tag a list of suspects at the end. I’ve read so many that I love.
Since I can’t even say hello in 10 words, I swore I wouldn’t try. But here I go — giving it a shot.

Buy stretch pants.
A Valentine tool.
A thank you for jobs well done.
A boy I didn’t know.
Became the man I love.
Pacemakers tickin’
keeping pace for old hearts
that love big.
