You went for a tough subject, Nour. I struggle with this a lot. I want to be a generous giver but I find it difficult for all the reasons you pointed out. Sometimes I think an act of kindness to someone who does not deserve it is the right thing to do because love speaks volumes. But as you point out, we have a growing population of people who expect us to take care of them and that's not something I want to invest in.
